New philharmonic hall hosts first concert 14.05.13 In a cultural bit of news, the newly renovated hall of Novosibirsk Philharmonics has hosted today its first concert. Congrats folks, now we have a nice new hall for the classic concerts. Careful! Storms are coming 09.05.13 While we enjoy warm summer, the weather scientists predict that tomorrow on 10th of May there will be hard rain, wind, potentially hail and snow. So be careful, avoid travel to nature spots as you may get more nature than you wanted to :) Flights to Blagoveschensk 02.02.13 Well, there are slim chances that you'd feel the need to come Blagoveschensk from Novosibirsk, not so usual route anyway, but if you do, there is now a flight for that, running weekly on Fridays by Angara airline. The plane they use is An-148, modern Russian/Ukranian made. TransAero runs another flight to Moscow-Vnukovo 24.01.13 While it may be not a very important news, but for those who craves for Vnukovo airport of Moscow for whatever reason, you have your day. TransAero now runs a flight to Vnukovo as well, in addition to their usual destination of Domodedovo. 5 speed trains are to run to/from Akademgorodok 21.01.13 Our Mayor's office announced that it is going to launch 5 new speed trains to connect Akademgorodok and Novosibirsk. Should be a good news for those living in Akadem, since taking a car or a bus on a single highway connecting them, which is, really, slowway nowadays is always a unnerving endeavour. New flight to Shymkent. To where? 19.01.13 In a bit of surprising news, S7 airlines decided to open a weekly flight to Shymkent, which is not so big city at the south of Kazakhstan, near Uzbekistan border. A bit strange of the destination, given Kazakhstan is all in all not a primary source of worker migrants to Russia, neither Shymkent is a popular tourist destination. We'll see what happens, but well, more flights are always good, we've been in choke of available destinations for years. New airline to fly to Moscow 13.10.12 The new airline is now flying from Novosibirsk to Moscow. The name is Red Wings, funny name, probably great for export, but strange to see domestically is of lower middle segment and offers comfortable rides on modern Tu-204s (these are the newest Russian planes). While affordable at cost it also offers the chance to vow your allegiance to Russian aircraft industry since in all honesty Russian planes are not so popular to have a chance to fly on. Nsk airport lifehack for international departures 07.10.12 Once you’re leaving Nsk by international flight, you arrive to the airport, but head to ARRIVALS section. Yes, this is not mistake, but a clever lifehack we found. This is why. Read more iPad 3 is available for purchase in Russia (and in Nsk as well) 29.05.12 It is hard to believe but in some areas Russia is behind such countries as Venezuela and the like. We still can't believe that Russia was not even in the second wave of iPad 3 availability in world countries. Why Russia means so little for Apple? We have no idea. But anyway, now it is here, available in most of electronics stores. Sorry, no reviews here, but plenty of them on the net. Nsk airport promises free wifi by June 06.05.12 Nsk airport Tolmachevo has launched today wifi in all its premises in test mode and promises to have it fully working by June. Good God what a great news. We've been like in stone age without it comparing to Moscow airports. Announce yourself at E-Novosibirsk.com Does your company influence the life of our city?
